NIH Clinical Center

The NIH Clinical Center provides links to clinical research programs, fellowship opportunities and other educational programs available at the NIH. The Clinical Center is designed to train clinical researchers in the responsibilities involved in planning and conducting clinical research and to increase the pool of clinical researchers with expertise in various specialties.

NIH Clinical Research Training Course

The Clinical Research Training Course addresses ethical and regulatory issues in human subjects research. All clinical principal investigators with a protocol approved through the NIH Clinical Center are required to take the course and successfully complete a final exam.

The Clinical Research Training Program (CRTP) is a small, year-long program designed to attract the most creative, research-oriented medical and dental students to the intramural campus of the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. NIH Loan Repayment Program

In exchange for a two-year commitment to a clinical research career, NIH will repay up to $35,000 per year of qualified educational debt, pay an additional 39% of the repayments to cover Federal taxes, and may reimburse any state taxes that result from these benefits.
